I bought the blue sapphire and synthetic ruby for my 6 and 9 year olds.My 9 year old's ear lobe is very thin,and these earrings look a bit long and wide on her (even though they are tiny) ,compared to my 6 year olds thick lobe.Overall they love these earrings,and I love the price.Got tired of them constantly loosing or breaking nice 14k gold earrings (some were brought from Europe by grandma).So,until they are ready for nice,gold earrings, I will stick with sterling silver.
