These are pretty but quite chunky, as they probably look on the website. Take note of the earring stick towards the top rather than the center of the earring - this is just something I dislike, it looks a little less elegant than the center arrangement.These earrings are really beautiful. As stated by others, they are a little large, and they do not sit flush with the earlobe, but I don't mind that. If you are looking for something delicate, I would pass. If you want a little sparkle in your life, and don't mind an earring that is a little chunky, then they are a must. I will probably replace the backs, as they are nothing special.My ears are usually very sensitive to earrings, but these have not bothered me at all.5 stars. Hands down. These are GORGEOUS, and even simple summer dresses look fabulous with these babies in your earlobes! Very well made, excellent price, and they look very convincingly real when worn. I have had numerous compliments from both ladies and gentlemen on these lovely earrings (I was able to show a few gentlemen where to find them on AMAZON FOR their Ladies!). The base, like the other reviewers said was too large and protrudes too much. It's sparkles like for a woman/feminine and bulky like for a man/masculine-- but neither holds true. It's too large and bulky. It should be like a "cocktail" setting with a low base, close to the earlobe and finer more feminine metal prongs. It has three prongs in the back and the bezel face but everything is very bulky! Returned it, but it was beautiful.This is perfect for a person who wants bling. If the size would have been listed, it would have saved me from ordering. I was looking for a 5mm in size, but it was a very nice piece.
